Taking Cues

A new social skills therapeutic group for kids!

This program uses creative drama games, improvisations, video modeling and discussion to help children learn and practice the basics of social perception in a fun way! Targets:

• Perception, interpretation  and expression of nonverbal social cues such as facial expression, vocal tone and body language
• Empathy building/perspective taking
• Focusing attention and cooperating with others

For Who ?       Kids ages 8-11 who need practice with accurate perception  of social cues  (i.e., ADHD, Autism Spectrum, Nonverbal Learning Disability). Group is limited to 6 participants at a time.

Where?            Kidworks, 3607 Manchaca Rd., Austin, TX

When?             Fall 2017, Thursdays 5:00-6:15, Sept 21-Dec 14

Cost:                $65 per session
